AGU joins EURIE 2019 (Eurasia Higher Education Summit)

The fourth edition of the annual EURIE – Eurasia Higher Education Summit was held in Istanbul on 27 February – 01 March, 2019.

Once again, the Abdullah Gül University participated and contributed to this summit, the 3rd largest Higher Education Summit in the world.

The Abdullah Gül University held a booth at the summit, as part of the “Study in Turkey” pavilion.


Head of the Abdullah Gül University International Office, Mr. Emeric Abrignani participated in the Panel session “Local/Regional/Global – Choosing the Right Positioning and Branding Strategies for your Institution”, in order to share Abdullah Gül University best practices on the branding of Higher Education institutions.



The University’s Technology Transfer Office (TTO) also contributed to the “Imagine Tomorrow – Shape the Future with your ideas” International Entrepreneurship and Innovation Event, organized within the Summit, as TTO Coordinator Mr. Aytaç Uzunlas and his collaborator Mr. Selahattin Aydoğdu were members of the Jury of this competition, “open to all incubator firms in science parks and individual entrepreneurs working in alliance with higher education institutions”.

Joining the EURIE 2019 Summit was also the opportunity to meet with existing and future partners.

The event continues to grow every year. In 2019, one could particularly observe a significant increase in the participation of Iranian, as well as some of the best Malaysian and French universities (via Campus France).

AGU looks forward to attending the next edition in 2020 with more experiences to share and discoveries to make.
