The Abdullah Gül University has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding and an International Student Exchange Agreement with Georgian Technical University.
These steps towards close academic collaboration were initiated by AGU in an effort to strengthen their links with the best higher education institutions of Turkey’s neighboring countries.
These include Georgian Technical University, currently ranked in the QS Emerging Europe and Central Asia rankings.
GTU was first established in 1922 as the polytechnic faculty of Tbilisi State University and became an independent institute in 1928.
Today, the university hosts around 20,000 students on its Tbilisi campus.
The two institutions look forward to collaborating in the fields of student and staff exchange, joint research and/or conferences in the area of Engineering.
