AGU partners with King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi

This year’s EAIE (European Association for International Education) Conference, which was took place last September in the Palais des Expositions et des Congrès of Geneva, was not only the opportunity to attend many meetings with existing and potential partners, as well as to attend presentations, but also the starting point for our new collaboration with the King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi in Thailand.

Mr. Emeric Abrignani, Head of the Abdullah Gül University‘s International Office, met with KMUTT representatives in Geneva and sat down to discuss collaboration opportunities.

Today, we are happy to announce that AGU and KMUTT have signed a partnership agreement, which lays the foundation for future collaborations in the field of student and staff exchange, joint research and publications, as well as the organization of joint conferences and events.


KMUTT, established in 1960, is a national research university located in Bangkok. The institution, which currently counts around 16.400 students and offers programs in 12 different faculties, has one urban campus, as well as two rural campuses.

KMUTT is currently ranked 114th in the Times Higher Education “Asia University Rankings 2018”.
