AGU signed a new agreement with the University of Indonesia (Universitas Indonesia), one of the oldest higher education institutions in Indonesia and ranked among its top 3 universities.
UI ranks 1st in Indonesia and 79th in Asia for the QS Top University Rankings. The University was first established in 1849 under the colonial government of the Dutch East Indies and today offers programs in 13 Faculties. The University has two campi located in central Jakarta and in Depok (south of Jakarta).
The Memorandum of Understanding signed with AGU will allow the two institutions to create student/staff exchange programs in the field of:
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Science
As well as research projects in the fields of:
- Gender Studies
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Bioprocess Engineering
